Use case
Technical medical image viewer
DICOM Viewer helps open a file and inspect frames or slices, dimensions, modality, Transfer Syntax, and technical metadata without uploading the image to third-party services.
Format support
Open DICOM Part 10, .dcm, .dicom, .ima, metadata-only DICOMDIR, NIfTI, NRRD/NHDR, and MetaImage MHA/MHD with embedded LOCAL data.
Viewing controls
Adjust window center/window width, frame or slice, zoom, palette, and inversion.
Metadata
Inspect dimensions, modality, Transfer Syntax, and technical tags, then export metadata as JSON.
Local processing
Previews are rendered on the device, and patient tags stay hidden until explicitly enabled.

Not a medical device
DICOM Viewer is intended for technical checks, QA, and file compatibility review. It must not be used for diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decisions.
File privacy
Files are selected by the user and viewed locally on the device. Patient tags are hidden by default and shown only after explicit opt-in.
